SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the AVP Web Operations and Infrastructure, the DevOps Engineer has the responsibility of creating and managing technology infrastructure to support the growth of the computing environment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Architect and deploy configuration strategy
Write scripting and automate manual processes
Promote availability and stability in a 24/7 High Availability environment
Analyze performance of the environment and recommend improvements where needed
Profiling performance and capacity planning of critical systems
Perform security scans and contribute to stakeholders responsible for security and risk assessments
Participate in an on-call rotation with the rest of the WebOps team for off hours support.
Respond to alerts and quickly triage problems and work with the team to resolve issues.
Design and implementation of projects and improvements
Ability to prioritize your own work and recognise items that need to be worked on.

What You'll Do

SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the VP, Operations, the Technical Program Manager will take responsibility for driving the Operations team to incorporate security, operations and compliance requirements into our systems, processes and procedures. Focus is on engaging with PEX technical leaders, project managers and subject-matter experts to ensure successful implementation of PEX’s key strategic initiatives, particularly those owned by Operations. This role will be cross-functional in nature, as initiatives will need close coordination across departments (e.g., marketing, sales, onboarding, customer service, operations, and technology).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
● Macro-project planning and project management - document and gain consensus on scope and implementation plan for all key strategic projects, working with senior sponsors of each initiative - summarize/refine goals, initiatives, sub-projects, milestones, deliverables, timelines, ownership, resources needed, and key dates. Report on progress regularly (likely weekly).
● Communications and meeting coordination:
● Keep all initiative stakeholders apprised of key project status via regular and ad hoc meetings and communications.
