Small Business Owners Feel Safe in Cyber Space

According to a recent survey, 850 out of 1,000 small business owners said they feel safe about their online operating systems and do not feel they are at risk of online crimes. Their reasoning stems from the belief that these “cybercrimes” are aimed at larger companies. A majority of these small business owners don’t feel like there is justification to put time and money into fully securing their online systems, despite a scandal in October in which Ukraine authorities made arrests after $70 million was allegedly stolen from U.S. bank accounts of small- and medium-size businesses. With decisions having to be made about whether or not to beef up security, the last thing small business owners should have to worry about is how their own employees are spending company money out on the road, which is why we suggest prepaid business credit cards.
