How Small Businesses are Built for the Long Haul

It’s always good to hear news about small businesses success, and this article is no exception. Not only have these three businesses withstood the tough economic times, which is impressive as is, but they’ve each been in operation for over 100 years!

How is that possible? The three businesses (masonry, freight and construction) seem to have followed many of the same trends to remain in business. Some of these are: family members’ continued involvement in the business, adapting to advancements in technology, and staying in touch with evolving customer needs. That’s all while still holding the same business philosophy, great management and employee relationships and owning a majority of the land where their businesses sit.

Interestingly enough, all of these businesses rely on employees who are constantly out in the field. For this reason, corporate prepaid cards could make life a lot easier for business owners by helping them manage the day-to-day costs and operations of their workforce.
