New Year, New Announcements, New PEX

Today is an exciting day! I am pleased to announce that we are changing our name from PEX Card to PEX. 
 
This may seem like a small change but the difference is significant for us…
 
Over the last few years the company has made investments in growth, technology, team, partnerships and infrastructure. In 2015 alone, our team nearly tripled in size and we’ve added thousands of customers across the US.
 
So why the change? The name and logo evolution reflects the company as a platform that extends far beyond cards. We see ourselves as a solution set that includes robust technology and support, all working to reduce operating costs and help companies manage staff spending more effectively.

When I founded PEX Card in 2006, the world was different – there was no financial crisis, the iPhone had not been released, and business credit cards prevailed.  At the time, traditional card services were inadequate for business needs in an internet-enabled world. We set out to create the next generation of corporate card services with the goal of redefining employee spend and expense management. Now businesses are more in tune with technology and we are assisting customers from a variety of industries, including nonprofit, event management, and the largest names in on-demand food and grocery delivery.

Given our rapid expansion, we recognize the entire PEX platform as the foundation of our success – not just cards.

Toffer Grant is PEX’s Founder and CEO. He founded PEX in 2006 as a prepaid card solution for small businesses. His background in the prepaid industry began at Clarity Payment Solutions, where he initiated 65 prepaid card programs in consumer, corporate, and emerging verticals of the prepaid card industry.
