Simply forward the email with your receipt image to [email protected], and our system will match it to the correct transaction on your behalf. This eliminates the need for manual uploads and simplifies expense tracking.

Seamless International Receipt Matching

Traveling abroad? Last month, PEX enhanced AI-receipt matching for fuel transactions, and we’ve taken it a step further by introducing advanced capabilities for international receipts. Our system now accurately matches transactions by recognizing different date and currency formats, making global travel expenses easier to manage.

Lock It Down: Enhanced Admin Controls for Cybersecurity Month

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and at PEX, we take your security seriously. To enhance the safety of your expense management practices, we’ve introduced new admin permissions. Admins now have the ability to control who can view card numbers and card transactions.

To update permissions for an existing admin:

  1. Log into the Dashboard
  2. Navigate to the Team Members tab
  3. Select an Administrator profile
  4. Edit permissions by selecting or deselecting the available options

Sync Up and Simplify with PEX + NetSuite and CMiC Integrations

PEX integrations simplify expense management by seamlessly syncing your PEX transactions with your accounting systems.

For NetSuite users, purchases, transfers, and fees now automatically sync into NetSuite as Journal Entries. Admins can map key fields such as Customers, Vendors, Departments, Locations, and Classes to PEX tags, and receipt images can also be synced directly into your NetSuite account. This feature is available for all Prepaid Expense customers, with support for Credit Expense coming soon.

For CMiC users, construction companies can now sync coding details such as Job, Cost Code, and Cost Type into CMiC. This integration also supports receipt images and is currently available for Credit Expense customers, with Prepaid Expense support on the way.

Fly High and Stay Smart: Exclusive Travel Perks for Airline and Hotel Purchases

Does your business have upcoming travel plans? Now is the perfect time to maximize your savings with PEX’s latest offer! From September 1st through December 31st, 2024, enjoy added incentives on all airline and hotel purchases made with your PEX card. For Credit Accounts, you’ll earn 5% back on airlines, 3% on hotels, and 1% on everything else. Prepaid Accounts get 3% back on airlines, 2% on hotels, and 1% on rideshare and transportation. Take advantage of these travel rewards and optimize your business expenses, but remember, this offer can’t be combined with other variable rebate promotions.

Submit Mileage Reimbursements for Business Travel

By popular demand, Cardholders can now request mileage reimbursements for business travel. 

Within the PEX app, Cardholders will enter key information for their trip such as the travel date, starting and ending destination or odometer reading. PEX will calculate the payout based on a fixed rate set by an Admin. Once approved by a business Admin, the funds will be sent directly to the personal account on file.

This feature is available on the web with mobile support coming soon. If you are interested and this is not yet available, please contact your customer success manager.

Low Balance Transfers for Prepaid PEX Accounts

Running out of funds while on the road can be a major inconvenience. To ensure your PEX account is always ready, we’ve introduced the Low Balance Transfer feature. Admins can set a funding rule to schedule ACH transfers automatically when the account balance drops below a set threshold. This guarantees that funds are available whenever they’re needed, without the worry of manual intervention.
