Simplify receipt auditing with PEX’s NetSuite integration

At PEX, we’re always working on new enhancements that will make expense management easier for our customers. We’re thrilled to announce that PEX now integrates with NetSuite, a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite that gives organizations everything they need to run their businesses efficiently and accelerate growth.
PEX customers can take advantage of this NetSuite integration to simplify expense management, streamline reconciliation, and enhance financial visibility. And unlike our competitors, we don’t charge extra for the NetSuite integration or place you into a new payment tier – it’s included with the PEX platform.
How PEX’s integration with NetSuite works
Cardholders can make purchases, upload receipts, and enter transaction details, like usual. Behind the scenes, a seamless workflow automatically syncs transactions directly into NetSuite with pre-set fields and tags. Here are a few key features:
- Quick, easy setup: Install the AccountLink NetSuite Bundle and follow the step-by-step instructions to connect the PEX platform to your NetSuite instance. No technical experience required.
- Flexible configuration: Choose between auto-sync or manual sync, set start and end dates, and select settlement or purchase dates for transactions.
- Real-time, two-way syncing: PEX syncs expenses, transfers/bill payments, rebates, and fees with NetSuite in real time, offering greater visibility into your comprehensive financial picture.
- Easy receipt access for auditing purposes: PEX stores receipts directly in the platform for easy downloading. You can automatically attach receipt images to journal entries for streamlined documentation and compliance. As a bonus, all receipts are synced into NetSuite for easy visibility and management, a unique feature compared to competitors.
- Customizable data mapping: Map NetSuite fields to PEX tags to accurately account for spend across your chart of accounts in real time. Mapping includes Expense Account, Vendor, Class, Location, Department, and Custom Fields.
What can the NetSuite integration with PEX do for you?
PEX’s integration with NetSuite automates the data transfer process – no more manual data pulls, column manipulation, and time-consuming uploads. All expense data in PEX is instantaneously transferred to NetSuite, saving you time on data entry, reducing concerns about errors, and consolidating all financial data in one place. Here’s how:
- Simplify reconciliation: The workflow automatically syncs purchases with journal entries in NetSuite, reducing manual reconciliation time and errors.
- Eliminate auditing: View your full audit history in both PEX and NetSuite – no manual uploading of receipts required. Edit configurations anytime, when your business needs change.
- Increase visibility: Get a comprehensive view of all of your financial data in NetSuite, increasing confidence to make projections and run forecasting.
