Small Business Owners Crave Broadband Service

No matter where your small business is located, one point has been made loud and clear: owners are looking for better broadband service to run their businesses. In this ever-changing age of technology, the importance of having high speed access is essential in performing day-to-day operations.

Although the cry is being made throughout the entire spectrum of small businesses, there is the greatest discrepancy between businesses in rural and metro areas in terms of broadband speed, availability and price. In any given state, businesses in a metro area can be operating at a high speed and productivity while only a few hours away, while businesses in a rural area may be struggling.

Suggestions are being made by the Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy to try and come up with a unified plan that can help all small businesses, but only time will tell what changes can and will be implemented.
