Mobile grocery delivery service Instacart is expanding its existing partnership with Whole Foods stores in the fifteen US cities in which it operates. Customers currently shop for groceries via mobile app or online website, schedule a delivery time, and await their groceries to be delivered by a shopper. Now, Instacart and Whole Foods have announced a pilot program in Boston and Austin to allow in-store pickup of groceries. Instacart expects the program to be expanded to all its cities.
