Blackbaud to Buy MicroEdge for $160 Million

Nonprofit software company Blackbaud is poised to buy another company, MicroEdge, for $160 million. Blackbaud is an industry leader when it comes to fundraising software,  analytics, and financial management. The purchase of MicroEdge will give the company access to the foundation and donor-advised funds space, as well as corporate social responsibility arena. MicroEdge joins Blackbaud's growing family of acquisitions, which includes WhippleHill, Target Analytics, eTapestry, Campaign Associates, and Convio.
